About Writing Café Journal

Our Mission

Writing Café Journal is an open platform for writers at every level.

We publish personal essays, creative fiction, wellness stories, poetry and sports. We read everything. We respond to everyone.

The name was inspired by our love of coffee and writing.

How It Works

Submit your piece through our submission form. Our editors review every piece, typically within the first 3 to 4 days but can take up to two weeks. If we decide to publish your article, we'll send an email when it is live online.

Publication Record

Writing Café Journal is registered with the U.S. ISSN Center at the Library of Congress (ISSN 3144-5470).

An ISSN, or International Standard Serial Number, is the international identifier for journals and magazines. Libraries, catalogs, and researchers around the world use it to identify a publication.
