Artificial Intelligence and Humanity
By Dr Barbaros İrdelmen
This path called life,
whether happy or sad,
we will finish it somehow.
As we walk our path,
to welcome goodness,
to punish the wicked,
to heal a wound;
these are our measures,
to rescue someone from distress,
to guide those who go astray
back to the truth,
to long for what is right...
Thunder, clouds,
rivers, wind, rain, and snow;
they all play by the rules,
merciless and unjust.
Artificial intelligence, too,
is as ruthless as nature,
it does not distinguish good from bad,
it knows neither kindness nor mercy.
Good and bad
are told apart only by humans.
A good human stands out from the rest
by their love and compassion.
Let not artificial intelligence deceive you,
Do not stray
from this path you hold,
leading to a humanity
full of goodness, compassion, justice
and
virtue.
