Homecoming
October 16, 2026
I wish there were lessons on homecoming.
How to find a way and
How to embrace the strangers.
I know the paths are merged into greens and blues,
into a stroke mark that starts and ends in itself
or an archaeopteryx ready to fly on the other.
Through everglades and fenlands, I find myself
floating and dipping my head in the water.
I paddle through the rivers of time at the end.
The alluring light of the hope summons the
distant childhood, the world is within you
and I am a mere trespasser with a belief.
I will wait for you at the ramshackle gate
once you recognize me, I am always there
in the breathing canvas of shadows.

About the Poet
I believe poetry is a part of my existence and an entire culture can raise its head in poetry.
