Poetry
Storms
October 22, 2026
Where will you find me
In what wilderness
In what echoes of the wind
Or mountains
Will you find me in the rain
Splashed fields
Or in huts abandoned
Searching for scattered roses
Or the marigolds I once
Saw in your hair, deftly knotted
You can’t tell me about the storms anymore
They have come and gone
Will come and go
Only the crescent moon above is prescient
And the hills brooding
