The Solitary Soul

April 30, 2026
Standing, feeling the vibrations underneath The silence of infinity Who knows I am here? The speed of silence Just take a walk How many have traveled through here What secrets do the depths hold Listen carefully, thump thump We are not really alone The cry of history sounds the alarm The winds waft of voices long gone It is so peaceful, so surreal Duty calls

I really enjoyed reading this, especially these lines:

How many have traveled through here
What secrets do the depths hold

I liked those lines specifically because we (I) often move through life without pausing to think about how people for so many thousands of years have all looked at the same sun and moon as we do.

This was really well done and it definitely inspired me. :D
