I don’t believe in Heaven I don’t believe in Hell I don’t believe in Reincarnation I only believe in Now My dog taught me that And now my dog is leaving to be part of the Past So I will be part of the Past too I need to remember his unwavering companionship, our real friendship, the love Native Americans have a saying for the Past, for the long-ago it was back when dogs could talk if my dog could talk he’d probably say Live in the Now, that’s where it’s at But it’s so lonely here

This is so beautiful and I am very sorry about your dog. I especially appreciated the phrase "...I will be part of the Past too." I really felt that. This is so well done.
