When in France

October 12, 2026
I'm trying to speak French But the words they just subside I remember from the phrase book Then my tongue it hits collide A variety of strange words Had all but blurted out! They're totally confused now And their lips began to pout In quick succession they respond Words vault and ricochet Rattle round my thinking cap They gestured 'go away' My persistence carried on I'll give it one more go I speak English, came his reply What do you want to know?
